Bochumer Verein manufactures wheel tyres both for tyred wheels used on mainline railways and for resilient wheels used on local and secondary lines. In addition to the UIC materials, it offers special mill grades such as Excelsior, Exzellent or KVR600, each with different strength levels, which have shown themselves to be outstanding particularly under difficult service conditions.
Wheel tyres can be manufactured for any application in a range of wheel tread diameters starting from 360 mm. Special sizes are also available on request.
