Prize for Innovation in Continuing Education and Development 2006

With its Prize for Innovation in Continuing Education and Training (WIP) in February 2006, the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) presented, for the sixth time, awards for innovative projects and ideas relating to continuing vocational/in-company training. Bochumer Verein Verkehrstechnik GmbH received this prize for its pilot project "Securing jobs and competence development for semi-skilled/unskilled older employees".

"Dortmunder Personalmanagement-Prädikat 2005" commendation

For the aforementioned pilot project, Bochumer Verein additionally received the personnel management commendation "Dortmunder Personalmanagement-Prädikat 2005" in the category "Innovative individual human resources policy project".
The quality label is awarded by a regional jury comprising employer associations, trade unions, chambers of commerce and industry, business promotion agencies and Germany's "Agentur für Arbeit". It acknowledges enterprises that have shown particular commitment to matters of in-company human resources and manpower policy and have endeavoured to realise innovative solutions.
