Tuan, You came to Germany at a young age, without much language skills, I suppose. No easy time probably\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tuan<\/strong> Not so dramatic, what it sounds like. You already get by like this and \u201efeel\u201c your way through the language, which is not entirely uncomplicated. But, You\u00b4re right: It\u00b4s not easy. Those who have been through it at least know they can push through.<\/p>\n

After school then into the \u201eapprenticeship\u201c at BVV\u2026<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Tuan <\/strong>Yes, from 2008 to 2011, I was able to complete a through training program as a cutting machine operator at BVV. During this time, I also studied for my vocational baccalaureate and then passed the final exam in June 2011.<\/p>\n

On the side, so to speak? Respect! Not everyone can do that either. Where was the free time then?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Tuan <\/strong>You have to approach the whole thing rationally, waste no time and stay consistent. Then it works out somehow I don\u00b4t think I missed anything significant \u2013 I was, if you like, also a normal teenager.<\/p>\n

You\u00b4ll stay with BVV after training\u2026<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Tuan<\/strong> Yes, I was able to get a lot of experience between 2011 and 2020 as a CNC programmer in the work preparation department. I actually programmed all the people and equipment from wheel to shaft production and created work plans. Well, I think I know a bit about the BVV. Oh, and I was also a presenter for setup workshops, that’ s a fun thing to do.<\/p>\n

You continued at this pace: you studied – again “on the side”…<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Tuan <\/strong>That\u00b4s right. From 2014 to 2018, I completed a mechanical engineering degree part-time….<\/p>\n

\u2026 and again not missed by life, I suppose\u2026 This is, I say so \u201eall sorts of\u201c and has my full admiration. There’s obviously a lot of passion behind it – for technology, for life in general\u2026<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Tuan <\/strong>Yes, I like to have something new on the note. A new challenge is exhausting, that’s clear. But it’s fun, too.<\/p>\n

In addition, and this shouldn’t be underestimated, it brings you a bit further in your career. Today, you are a project manager in factory development by Christian Wendel. It’s not an unimportant job.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Tuan <\/strong>That is of course an essential aspect, that you also get something out of it materially. But the fun is still crucial! Take the new machining center in Ilsenburg: I am always happy to manage such important projects. By the way, I really enjoy doing this, it’s a challenging job that suits me.
