Block-braked wheels and wheelsets for freight transportation remain a core product of the Bochumer Verein. The wheels manufactured in BVV special grades are optimised for a high-thermal, continuous load. Their excellent long-lasting properties and the – optional – damping rings to reduce rolling and curve travel noise make them economical and future-proof.
