My name is Larissa Stiber, I am 22 years old and I have been a part of BVV’s since 01 September 2018. After my first apprenticeship as a retail saleswoman, I decided to do another apprenticeship as an industrial saleswoman.
I applied to the Bochumer Verein Verkehrstechnik because it is a company that is not only known for very good training, but also takes on great responsibility in daily life. A company that gets thousands of people from A to B every day with its products is, in my opinion, to be admired.
At the beginning of their training, all 1st year trainees went on a trainee trip to Bad Marienberg. There we were able to get to know each other and were prepared for a good start to our training. Topics such as expectations, fears and anxieties regarding the training as well as the intermediate and final examinations and much more were discussed. We ended the trip with a convivial barbecue.
In the first few months of my training, I was assigned to the HR department.
There I met many, dear and very helpful colleagues, I immediately felt very comfortable.
From the beginning, I was allowed to take responsibility and, for example, participate in the application process of the new trainees. My tasks were to send feedback to applicants, to deal with the evaluation of application documents, Prepare lists regarding the application process and co-administer recruitment tests. I have now been at Bochumer Verein Verkehrstechnik for 3 months and I can say with full confidence that it was the best decision to start a second training as an industrial clerk.
I will soon be joining a new department and I am looking forward to the tasks and challenges that await me there.
