cutting machine operator

I became aware of the profession of cutting machine operator through an internship during my technical baccalaureate. With BVV, I definitely found the company that could give me the best possible training.

The first year of training begins at the Bochum Technical Center of ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG. Here, in the first four months, we are taught the basic skills of metalworking, for example filing, drilling, sawing and bendingAt the vocational school, you learn the theory associated with the practice once or twice a week. After the first four months, you move to the cutting department.

There you learn various turning and milling processes as well as the necessary machine and tool knowledgeThe great advantage of this training: the daily guidance and support by a trainer who can directly answer open questions or uncertainties. So you learn very quickly and can develop further. You can still exchange ideas with the many other trainees. All in all, it’s a very pleasant working atmosphere that motivates me a lot. After spending almost a year and a half in the technical center, I will complete my further training in production at BVV. I look forward to extensively expanding my current knowledge by the very qualified staff.
